Busy morning - we decorated letters to make a sign for mobile creche, using colouring crayons, glitter and sparkles which everyone really enjoyed - including me and Kylie :) In the afternoon we attempted to make letters out of play dough but it didn't pan out how we had planned and we ended up making whatever we liked. The girls made kitchen utensils such as chapatti rollers, tables, bowls etc. One girl even made a bowl filled with chapattis :) One girl was teased about the size of her chapatti roller as it was huge which was rather amusing. We also attempted to play pairs with the younger children but it turned into a bit of a frenzy with all the children snatching the cards of each other (which were by this time covered in play dough) - so I ended up collecting the cards and played some other games instead. After work me and Kylie went in search of bus tickets for Goa. With the aim of getting the lowest prices we went down a row of travel agents - it was rather a long process as they had to ring up to find out prices using about 3 phones at once :O This meant that there was a large amount of noise in very a very small hot room = rather stressful and after going into a fair few shops it ended up being the 1st one which was the cheapest :/ After finally getting the tickets (YAY everything is sorted for Goa) we went to the train station to buy tickets to go to Mumbai for Kylie's birthday - we were in the queue for ages and when we eventually got back to Sangam we wanted to laminate the letters we made early. This meant we didn't sit down to have dinner till 9pm so it had been a rather long day but a very productive one - plus our sign looks ace.
